Our Story
The future we had to invent ourselves.
Trinitris Limited was formed in March 2025 by industry professionals who saw a change coming. The advent of the "AI era" presented a unique opportunity to reinvent the landscape of software, in the image of our founders.
We are an Ideas Factory focused on R&D, design, and productising software. We aim to divest successful companies based on what we produce. We use AI and quantitative computing to help us develop the best possible programs that are futureproof with a very small team.
Our origins trace back to the early 2010s, when we developed a conceptual new-style CRM to challenge Salesforce. The idea reached conceptual stage but wasn't taken further — but we held the name and domain, and wished to use it again. Now, with the right technology and timing, that vision is finally ready to be realised.
Computing journey in the late 1980s on 8-bit hardware with 64KB of RAM. A Graphical User Interface was still unheard of outside the highest-end hardware. Cutting our teeth on text-based interfaces, we honed our skills and learned what makes a computer from the ground up.
First taste of graphical user interfaces and rich multimedia environments. From BASIC and Assembly through to Visual Basic and C. Pioneers on the early Internet — one of us almost opened a cybercafe in Shoreditch. Playing Elite II dreaming of the day we'd be space travellers.
All ended up in the IT industry. Some became top-class game developers. Others went into the corporate world where enterprise infrastructure and software floated our boat. Whilst we came into the office where the network was very much the afterthought, and the mainframe still ruled the roost, we saw Software-as-a-Service looming on the horizon.
Some hated the idea of SaaS and cloud computing. Whilst we knew it would catch on, we thought it would cook our geese in what we specialised in. Database clusters, virtualisation, on-premise compute and storage remained our bread-and-butter. We dragged ourselves kicking and screaming into the cloud — adopting AWS, then Azure, GCP, Kubernetes.
A global panic on multiple fronts. A global oligarchy dominating software and business technology. Too-big-to-fail companies charged with leading the AI revolution. This wasn't the future we wanted. So we went back to basics, thinking in our child-like states over what to do about it.
Generative AI revolution — as much as global titans try to dominate, we believe the future is local. Cybersecurity compromised — supply-chain attacks on a daily basis. Full-spectrum warfare — the world has undeniably got more dangerous. Something has to change — and Trinitris can show you how.
